Taken just above Teslin Yukon Territories. Every time in the past I had looked and saw a photo, but never stopped to take the photo. Teslin is but a place to stop for gas and food. The huge lake of Teslin goes for miles.
Alaska - What used to be the road to Mt McKinley National Park before the Parks Highway was created you can find these ponds. This unpaved road is called the Denali Highway and stretches some 90 miles.

Oregon Coast
An over look above the Matnuska River.
Popular stopping place south of Anchorage, Portage Glacier at one time came all the way to the parking area. These days it's hard to see and the ice chunks hardly make it to the information center.
